Volumising & Contouring

Volumising and contouring treatments can assist in restoring lost facial volume, resulting in a fuller, younger-looking face. Treatment may also be used if you are looking for improved facial contours, such as the jawline, chin and cheekbones. The treatment provides support and structure to create contour and add volume to the face.

The face tends to deflate as we get older both through loss of bony volume as well as subcutaneous tissue. While the areas of deflation will vary among individuals, this will tend to produce a general down-going effect of facial tissues.

Common areas of volume loss are the forehead, the temples, the area around the eyes, the cheeks, the areas around the nose and mouth and the jawline.

Volumising and contouring treatments will selectively reflate these areas to support the overlying tissue in a way which is restoring proportion more as it used to be.
