Synergie Professional Skin Peel treatments are designed to reduce skin surface irregularities by removing the top layers of the skin, stimulating collagen remodelling,  reducing skin discolouration, improving skin texture and hydration and reducing congestion.

Various strengths and types of skin peels are available, and an in-depth skin consultation is necessary to ensure the appropriate peel treatment is selected for your specific skin concerns.

Enzyme Hydropeel

With a blend of papaya enzyme and 15% lactic acid, this hydrating peel will stimulate cellular renewal and leave the skin looking soft, plump, and hydrated.  This peel is the perfect answer for those looking for an introduction to peel treatments, those with sensitive skin or anyone wanting a more radiant glow.

Purifying Salicylic Peel

A deeply exfoliating peel with powerful anti-inflammatory properties, calming sore, red skin and soothing breakouts leaving the skin looking healthier and clearer.  This peel is ideal for acned and congested skin, as well as for those with rosacea.

Lactic Brightening And Hydrating Peel

This peel amplifies the skin’s natural moisture properties, inhibits the activation of pigment production and stimulates cell renewal, helping to achieve firmer, hydrated and glowing skin.

Layered Peel

This signature Synergie peel combines anti-inflammatory salicylic acid and hydrating, exfoliating lactic acid, leaving your skin deeply cleansed and refreshed.  A good option for those concerned about the signs of ageing, or for those with congested pores and acne problems.

Tetra Acid-50-Peel

With a potent 50% combination of mandelic, lactic, kojic and malic acid, this peel helps to inhibit pigment production on a cellular level, resulting in a brighter and more even skin tone.

Modified Jessner Power Peel

This peel is a powerful combination of lactic, salicylic and kojic acid.  It works to purify and decongest the skin while providing pigment inhibiting, rejuvenation, and anti-inflammatory effects.

FAQs About Skin Peels

Are Skin Peels Safe To Use?

Yes. While we use several different peels that vary in strength, we only use premium Synergie Skin Peels.  As skin peels are non-invasive, they do not break the skin, instead working chemically to produce gentle yet powerful results.

To learn more, we recommend this great blog post on peels that explains their effectiveness, benefits, and suitability for different skin types. The blog is by Terri Vinson, a biological scientist and cosmetic chemist, and the founder and formulator of Synergie Skin®.

How Many Skin Peels Will I Need?

A course of 3-6 peel treatments is recommended for optimal results, depending on your skin requirements.

Can I Do Skin Peels In Conjunction With Other Treatments?

Yes, peels can be done in conjunction with other treatments, including BBL Skin Rejuvenation and PicoWay Skin Treatments.  Your nurse or therapist will develop a treatment plan for you.

Will My Skin Peel Hurt?

No. You may feel a warming sensation or some tingling depending on the strength of the peel.  Any side effects should subside within a few hours of your treatment.

Am I A Suitable Candidate?

Skin Peels can be tailored to most skin types and conditions; however, they are not recommended for anyone that:

  • is pregnant or breast feeding
  • has had prior reaction to chemical peels
  • has had recent radiation treatment for cancer
  • is sunburnt or has had significant sun exposure in the days prior to treatment
  • has used isotretinoin (Roaccutane/Oratane) within the past 6 months
How Do I Prepare for a Skin Peel?

  • Commence using Synergie skin essential vitamin B for a minimum of 14 days prior.
  • Daily use of solar protection is vital.
  • Discontinue prescription retinoids 5 days prior to treatment.
