If you would like to rejuvenate and tighten your skin, and improve conditions like pigmentation, acne scarring or dry eye, we have a new treatment that can help.
Tixel is a non-invasive skin treatment that involves a high temperature metallic plate with blunt, pyramidal projections being applied to the skin’s surface for milliseconds.
This induces a healing response in the skin.
It is not a laser. Instead it utilises thermo-mechanical energy to evaporate tiny channels into the skin to stimulate new collagen formation to improve skin quality.
Why choose Tixel?
It has minimal discomfort or pain, but numbing cream can be used
It is not a laser device or injectable
It does not emit radiation
It does not cause bleeding or blistering of skin tissue
It can be used to treat around the eyes and eyelashes without damage to the eye
It heals rapidly therefore requiring limited downtime
What does Tixel treat?
uneven skin pigmentation
skin laxity of eyelids
How does Tixel work?
Tixel uses a heated tip to transfer thermal energy to the upper skin layers, creating micropores. Through these micropores we can infuse other cosmeceutical products such as antioxidants, hyaluronic acid and anti-pigmentation serums.
Additional products aside, the Tixel tightens existing collagen fibres in the dermis as well as stimulating ongoing collagen production for an overall more youthful appearance.
