Dr Emma Philip graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Otago University, New Zealand in 2001 and proceeded to spend 5 years gaining experience in various hospitals throughout both New Zealand and Australia. Rotations during this time included plastic surgery, emergency medicine, paediatrics, urology, general medicine, general surgery, palliative care and rehabilitation. As a medical student Dr Emma also spent 4 weeks in the Dermatology department of the Mayo Clinic Minnesota.
In 2009 she began working in General Practice and in 2012 became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. In 2013 she commenced private practice in cosmetic medicine.
Her skills are constantly being built upon through her attendance at local, national and international workshops and conferences.
Dr Emma is a certified laser operator with Queensland Radiation Health and has a particular interest in women’s health, which is her focus at the Cosmetic Medicine Centre.
